Roncone PhysioDynamic Quick System

The PhysioDynamic System (PDS) is an interactive self-ligating bracket technology that utilizes an integrated, directional force system to treat malocclusions and create functional, aesthetic smiles. Self-ligating brackets use a specialized clip in place of elastics to help the archwire guide teeth into place. The clip helps reduce the amount of pressure placed on the tooth, and decreases the number of adjustments because there are no elastics to replace.

Pre-adjusted self-ligating BioQuick® and QuicKlear® interactive self-ligating brackets, along with specially made super-elastic nickel titanium wires, produce more precise directional forces to help reduce treatment time. Plus, the system eliminates the need for temporary anchorage devices (TADs) in most cases.

Patient-Centric Orthodontics

The PhysioDynamic Quick System, using the BioQuick metal and QuicKlear clear self-ligating brackets, has been optimized in design for the best possible orthodontic experience.

  • Shorter appointment visits and fewer adjustments: The majority of patients undergoing PDS only visit us six to eight times throughout the entirety of their treatment.
  • Less discomfort for patients: PDS is a physiologically based system from start to finish, which means the tooth movement is designed to work with the body, not against it.
  • Reduced treatment times: Most patients’ treatment lasts between 13 to 16 months.
  • Aesthetic treatment and results: PDS was developed to maximize both functional and cosmetic tooth placement, creating full arch aesthetics, an ideal smile line, and functional occlusion.
