Angel Aligner™
Angel Aligners are a modern orthodontic option that straightens your teeth without traditional metal braces. They are a series of custom-made, clear plastic trays that fit snugly over your teeth and gradually shift them into the right position, all while being nearly invisible to others.
Angel Aligners are nearly invisible, removable, and comfortable, with no brackets or wires to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. Because they are removable, you can eat more freely, and brushing and flossing aren’t a hassle.
Who Can Use Angel Aligners?
Angel Aligners are suitable for individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, and are customized to fit each patient's unique dental needs.
They can help correct a wide range of common tooth and bite issues, including:
- Crowding: Teeth that overlap or are rotated due to insufficient space
- Gaps: Extra space between teeth
- Overbite: Upper front teeth that excessively overlap the bottom teeth
- Underbite: Lower front teeth or jaw that sit ahead of the upper
- Crossbite: Misalignment of the upper and lower jaw
- Open bite: Lack of contact between upper and lower teeth when the jaw is closed
How Angel Aligners Work for Your Smile
The clear aligner system consists of a series of thin, BPA-free clear plastic removable appliances and proprietary 3D software. The aligners gently move your teeth in small increments from their original position to a more optimal one.
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth move little by little, week by week, until they reach the final position your doctor has prescribed.
What to Expect During Treatment
- The first step is to schedule an appointment at our office for a comprehensive oral examination, including digital scans, photos, and X-rays.
- You'll visit our office about once every month or two to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. Angel Aligner also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start, so you can see how your straight teeth will look when treatment is complete.
- After completing treatment, you will receive a retainer to help maintain your newly aligned smile. Be sure to wear your retainer as directed and attend retention appointments so we can ensure that your teeth remain in their new positions.
